I am interested in the use of complex repeated elements to create fields of light and
color whose energy is uplifting and profound. Since about 1983, I have incorporated personal meaning into the work which adds another dimension to both the conceptual development and the viewing experience.

My interests and concerns are distilled into linear forms which, when repeated and layered, produce work that is both personal and universal. My intention is to create
a viewing experience that is calming yet energizing, both stimulating and meditative.
