The Spin paintings are an attempt to react to the decisions and actions of the current administration. Lies and half-truths, valued institutions under attack, cruelty to government employees and immigrants, disregard for both the rule of law and free elections threaten democracy and the American way of life. How we react may determine whether we live freely or under authoritarianism.
